holy crap! tornado!

we've never had a tornado here before. i just so happened to be driving, when i saw this. i wasn't sure what it was at first, as "tornado" was furthest from it. i got out my camera at the red light and the guy in an air conditioning repair service van, one lane over, asked me if that was a tornado. i told him it looked like one to me. the first photo is thru my windshield. the second is 10 minutes later from the second level of a parking garage. i like how the funnel is inverted. i believe that is a rare occurrence. before it dissipated, it turned into two funnels, and then fanned out into just wind. it was a very cool experience to witness.
